The m/38 Husqvarna features a bent bolt and a front receiver ring roll stamped with "Husqvarna Vapenfabriks Aktiebolag" and the year of manufacture. SN 654877. 25" barrel bolt action rifle in 6.5mm Mauser. Husqvarna Vapenfabriks Aktiebolag / 1942 dated on the receiver. Features shrouded front sight, ladder rear sight, sooth wood stocks, and comes with leather military sling. Bolt handle has the number "877" stamped on, rear of the bolt has "877" electro-penned to it below the safety lever. In all, 60,000 new rifles with the 24.5 inch barrel were built at the Husqvarna factory between 1942 and 1945.

Built in 1942, everything on this rifle is nicely blued and appears milled/forged. Danish cronw is stamped on everything, and it appears strictly military, no Bubba-izing has been done. Barrel is 24.5" long and clean as a whistle. Protected front sight, nice trigger action.

Markings: The import mark under the barrel reads “CDI SWAN VT M38 SWEDEN 6.5X55 CAL”. The top of the receiver is marked “HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS / AKTIEBOLAG / 1942”. The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number. In 1867 the company became a limited company under the name Husqvarna Vapenfabriks Aktiebolag.

This is showing a good condition stock and barrel having the original sights. During WW2 Husqvarna Vapenfabrik produced rifles which were intended to be used by a resistance movement in Sweden in case of occupation by the Nazis. This is not a Military rifle.
